Dennis Hopper has landed a role in George A. Romero's Land Of The Dead?
If true, this is just too freeping cool!

"Sources have told The Horror Channel that Dennis Hopper has landed a starring role in George A. Romero's Land Of The Dead, the upcoming and long-awaited fourth film in the director's classic horror series."

2. I'm excited now
I honestly didn't think Romero was ever going to go back to the series, but I'm guessing with the success of games like Resident Evil and the Dawn of the Dead remake, he decided it was worth it.

4. Hopper is a Bushbot
Openly supports the Chimpster. I wish he didn't do that because it makes it hard to watch his movies now and wonder how an 'Easy Rider' can become a repuke.

Hopper is raising money for Kerry.

"Kerry draws a lot of his Southern California support from Hollywood, where his bundlers include actor Dennis Hopper, Kenny "Babyface'' Edmonds, Paramount Pictures chairwoman Sherry Lansing and director William Friedkin."

There's a lot out there on the net about him supporting Bush a while back, but I think he's had a recent re-conversion to the Democratic fold.

6. A very recent re-conversion indeed
I heard him on a live interview only 2 weeks ago saying he supported Bush. He said he has been catching hell from his family for supporting the Chimp, but indicated they had no effect on his political decisions.

I'm glad to see he has come around. Thanks for the enlightenment, I can enjoy watching his movies again.
