I didn't, thank god. My high school is one of the smaller ones, which is nice and I got in some honors classes (not math though. I hate math!) All my teachers are all right, I guess. So far I'm pretty optimistic about the whole high school.

What about you guys?

1. Not from the first day...
The first year wasn't that great - at least in band class, where the sophomores on up initiated freshmen with "red bellies" (you grab a freshman, lift up his/her shirt, and they take turns drumming on your stomach). I escaped all their attempts to get me throughout the year, which pissed off the lead trumpet player who then tried to get me early in my sophomore year - which turned out to be a mistake because guess who had packed on 20 pounds of muscle from lifting weights and wasn't taking crap from the little Napolean-complex-suffering bastard that he was? :)

4. lol
No redbellies here, thankfully. Actually, I only have about two classes with non-freshies and most of the upper classes just ignore us anyway :).

I moved every year when I was a child, and NEVER during the summer! I could tell you dozens of horror stories about THE FIRST DAY. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

3. shoot me now...
gloomy, rainy first day back. already have four giant textbooks and piles of homework, AP Calc, a test tommorrow in AP Latin, a quiz in AP Physics Thursday, and one long term project and novel study in Humanities II (AP US History and English).

:wow:

plus, homecoming is obscenely early this year. asking week is next week.

5. Yikes.
That don't sound good. I haven't thought about dating much yet, if all else fails I'll go with Chris, my old friend since elementary. I doubt he'd mind.

I had a fairly good day today, but I feel something bad coming on for me...could just be my tiredness speaking, but i'm often right on such premonitions...:(
