ARGHHH That's the last straw!

Ok I give up! My crappy cable company. I pay $30 a month and get a whole 30 channels (including all the premium channels they offer). Once again, CNN and the History channel are off the air. No Animal Panet, no other news channels. Hell, until last year we didn't even get Discovery or HGTV.

What satelite system do you all recommend?
It's the pits living in the boonies.

5. Yeah, but DirecTV gives you 200 channels really cheap.

I know it's owned by Murdoch, but it's the best satellite system out there.

3. We live in the boonies too.

We use Dish network and have done so for the last three years. Absolutely no complaints. We get 180 channels for just under 60 bucks a month. They added Sirius channels for all kinds of music which is a bonus. Installation, eauipment, local programming all free. Up to 4 recievers. You can't beat it, and NO Rupert Murdoch,(yet).
