1. Love 'em too!
I have all kinds of stuff from them--jackets, cut-off fatique pants, etc.

My friend bought a cool hammock tent at one close to my home, but I haven't been so fortunate to find another one.

2. Which Reminds me.....
I need to pick up a steel pot helmet so I can paint it in Pointer Purple and gold for UWSP Hockey games.

Then again, maybe wearing a flying helmet and goggles would make for a nice wierdness factor on campus.

But then again, it might not be prudent to wear a leather hat in the Eco Hall. I'm told by my future roomate that a lot of "hardcore vegitarians" live there.

4. Punch me in the stomach?

Then again, I could have fun pissing off Air Force Recruiters on campus by putting the goggles over my eyes and singing a rousing rendition of Into the Air, Junior Birdmen!.

Into the air, junior birdmen
Into the air, upside down;
Into the air, junior birdmen
Keep your nose up in the brown;
And when you see all those birdmen
With their shiny wings of tin
Then you will know the junior birdmen
Have sent their boxtops in!

6. I love Army surplus stores.
I buy gray T-shirts and sweats, wool socks (O/D), bib-overalls, heavy wool military sweaters, etc., etc. I'm not trying for the para-military look, I just like the prices and durability of most genuine military-issue clothing and footwear.

My Army/Navy surplus store in Dallas (on McKinney) closed right before we moved away. However, my condo in downtown Greenville, SC, is a few blocks from the Army/Navy store on S. Main in the West End.
