Nice Lady's car gets "Keyed" at Wal-Mart.

I went to Lowe's (home improvement) this morning at noticed the car in front of me had several cool anti Bush/Pro Kerry stickers on her bumper....the Lady was just getting into her car.

I got out of my Truck and said: I love your Stickers!

She looked at me and said: I may just have to take them off. Look at the other side of the car.
I walked around and saw that some SOB had wrote "Vote Republican" with a Key (or something Sharp) on the passenger side.

I said: Awww, Geez..Did this just Happen?
She said: No...My daughter is a college student and works part-time at Wal-Mart to help with Expenses. I was in the store last night (there to pick her up) and when we came out she saw the side of the car and cussed!

We talked for awhile and I could tell that another part of this Sweet Lady's "faith in the human race" had died.

Maybe people should just call the cops right then and there if at a public place... usually there are cops at the Wal Marts around here... we need to start making a stink about this... make sure people know how ugly and hateful many Republicans are.

but when I've just had 4-5 of my friends the past few days get their cars keyed, or their bumper stickers removed (and one actually had their bumper removed), I'm going to find it really difficult to give a shit when Bubba's Suburban gets a few scratches.

Why I even bother...

Before you go accusing people of anything, you need to realize that as a new person, your low post count is a liability until you hang around for awhile and make some friends.

The fact that you have either not gone in and created a profile for yourself or have chosen to keep it hidden also works against you for being taken seriously.

We have quite a few visitors from hostile groups coming here and doing the same thing.

As for what "side" I'm on, I've gotten no complaints from anybody I've worked with so far. At marches, out tabling, out canvassing, and educating young voters.

I'm just sick and tired of the Repugs CLAIMING they hold the "High Moral Ground". . . when it's obvious to anyone with the sense God gave to canned cling peaches that they don't. So you hit a hot button of mine...

A buddy of mine got me interested in over here after DNC in Boston (I was vaguely Wes Clark, but by the time the Virginia Primary rolled around, well. . . .)

It doesn't help to be the only liberal in a conservative neighborhood.

I'm armed too. . .grew up in Pennsylvania, hunted deer. And have several lawfully registered weapons, from a Ruger P85 9mm auto pistol (my old military personal sidearm), to the ancient family deer rifle (4 generations old and still bagging deer every year, and a 12-gauge shotgun.

OK, that may be wierd here, I'm the only Armed Liberal I know of in my associates. . .but we have a family tradition of being Armed and Liberal that goes back to before the Civil War. . . (great-to-the-third grandfather was a noted abolitionist. . .)

Slap that on THEIR bumper, and walk away. Force THEM to scrape up their own car if they don't like the message. . .or even better, to get harrassed by their Klanmates at the next cross-burning, if they don't notice it. . .

i doubt the statement it makes will recruit any new repukes, and if it does, well they can HAVE the assholes who think its ok to key your political message on someone elses car. it's the perfect compliment to a bumper of democratic stickers.

The other day I wondered if I should take some of my stickers off, too. At a red light, some crazy jerk started yelling, flailing his arms at me, calling me a "fucking commie bitch." After hearing about much worse happening to other people, I admit I was a little scared. But I'm leaving the bumper stickers right where they are.

I've got a couple of head shakes and a thumbs down from repukes so far and I'm in the heart of republican country, Oakland County Mi, I don't think people will mess with me though (I look pretty mean). I've also been posting Kerry Edwards stickers all over town, I'll have to check and see if they've been removed yet. Sorry to hear about your car. May I suggest that while you're waiting for the insurance to file your claim, you just add the word DON'T in front of vote 4 bush?

I drive a nice sports car and wouldnt put ANY bumperstickers on it, but its just totally wrong when some freeper damages a good persons property like this. Theres a special place in hell for people like that.
