Poll question: Ok, it's a 50/50 split in the USA. Which side do you want, East or West?

Since we seem to be at a roughly 50/50 split in idealogy, maybe we should just split the country down the middle and let us do our thing while they do theirs.

Split down the middle, do you choose the East or the West (with their respective positives and negatives)?

divide it along the old Civil War borders. let the repuks have the south. (Keep Fairfax and Arlington Counties in Virginia in the northern part tho). Sorry Southern DUers. You'll like parts of the north, southern Ohio, southern Illinois, rural Maryland, it'll be like home, but with more Democrats/.

11. East Coast
It's where all my family and friends live.
CT, Boston, NYC, Baltimore, Philly, N.J., Florida. They may all be spread out but I would keep the East Coast because of those reasons.

14. This is a dilemma
Because I'm from Kansas, which I love, and am now living in Pennsylvania, which is also nice, and am moving to Texas next June, I'm hesitant as to which way to proceed. I say let 'em have the East Coast because I'll be moving anyway. I would love to see my Kansas be full of intelligent, thinking (and free-thinking) Democrats for a change. Would get to keep California that way, as well.

I'd be happy to take The following states:
MN, WI, MI, IA, IL, IN, IN, OH, WV, MD, PA, DE, NJ, NY, RI, CT, MA, ME, VT, NH. Maybe MO, but I'm not sure

West coasters, good luck to you. I'm sure you'll figure something out and to the rest of the states, good riddance
