Jackasses shooting off fireworks nearby.
I called the sheriff, and they arrived a few minutes ago. It's illegal to shoot off fireworks in this county, and it's dangerous. And it pisses me off! Scares the bejesus out of pets, too. We won't see our cats for the rest of the night.

These idiots were shooting off firecrackers, bottle rockets, and M-80s. Hope they all get fines and have to appear in court.

12. You don't know who Patrick is?
Shame on you. Spongebob is one of the funniest cartoons since Ren and Stempy.

14. LOL...
...Yes! It is a big spongy starfish.

It's patrick from spongebob. He's pretty much a dumbass...just like me...so I have included him in my sigline. And he is terrified of spiders like I am...

2. Fireworks are quickly becoming a regular part of Labor Day
I'm not quite sure when it started. I'm sure the fireworks makers and sellers are happy about that.

3. I didn't know that.
An end-of-summer thing? Maybe if people would look at a calendar and realize that there are close to three more weeks of summer, they'd enjoy themselves a little more.

4. Yeah, I think it's an end-of-the-summer thing
Here in Indianapolis we have some small fireworks displays, nothing big like the 4th, but I don't think a city-wide show isn't that far away. Heck, I'm such a shut-in they already might have one. I saw fireworks in the ad for the downtown Labor Day party commercials, so who knows? I'm sorry about your neighbors, but I'm glad my neighbors are quiet tonight. They were monsters this 4th, shooting fireworks at our house.

6. I don't go out much
Edited on Sun Sep-05-04 08:50 PM by khephra
especially during Summer. I burn too easily. Fall is my most active time of the year...then winter hits and my arthritis starts getting seriously bad. That's one of the many reasons that I'm moving to the West or Southwest next year. Spring is pretty active for me too.

10. My best friend might come out (Maryland) in October, and my family
in November. I can't wait for them to experience Autumn where the seasons visibly, palpably, tangibly change. The leaves have blown my mind for four falls and they will continue to blow my mind every year for as long as we live here.

'night, K, 'night, all.

13. In Cincinnati they're having a big firework show
It's the only thing Appalachians can pay attention and be fascinated by it everytime.
