I don't necessarily want to kill them. Just make them go away like across the street to the neighbors...

5. live traps
You can get live traps at a hardward store.

They're safe and no injuring...

We had a couple a regulars at our home..fed them peanuts...but when they get into a house they're very destructive.

Live traps work ...you can release them in a park afterwards.

15. Live traps dont work so well
Transplanting a small animal with an already short lifespan to an area they have no prior experience with is usually a death sentence for the animal. They arent familiar with the local food sources, shelters, or where the predators usually stalk. Plus, they have to compete with the already established chipmunks in the area for food and shelter that already have their territory staked out. Eventually they will be forced to migrate, and usually get eaten or road-killed in the process. I'd suggest a quick death with a .22 or high-power airgun rather than tranplanting with a live trap.

14. Are they a pest?
I remember them around our farm when i was a kid but they never bothered us. Our pekinese used to catch them all the time though.

Now the deer on the other hand, like big rats eating up my garden, you can have them.
