i'm a happy drunk

after a few brewskie's, i get real happy. not like some drunks who get obnoxious or beligerent, i get real happy. it even effects me spiritually too, my spirits soar, and i put on good music and really enjoy it.

ben franklin, one of the founding fathers, said beer is proof that god loves man. sam adams, brewer and patriot, bless his ass. george washington and tom jefferson both brewed wine, beer and whiskey, and george grew marijuana. bless em, the radical drunkards.

i hate mopey, depressed drunks, i won't hang around and baby sit them. give me a good ol happy drunk like me, anytime.

There is a point when I am a happy drunk, right when I first get a buzz. Unfortunately, I tend to drink past that and become an annoyed and possibly mean drunk. There would be no way that someone could have taken advantage of me while drunk. I would beat them up if they touched me. My husband has learned to stay a safe distance away if I drink too much. I haven't drank for several months though and since graduating college, I only drink a few times per year.

I find it magnifies my natural personality, which is goofy and outgoing. I just get goofier, funnier and more outgoing (and louder, I am told).

I can't STAND it when people who are drinking with me suddenly start crying, telling me how much they love me, or getting all angry. Grrrrrrr.
