What would be hilarious - re: the Ketchup thing
What would be hilarious would be having a bunch of people taking one of those "blind taste tests" in a heavily Repuke area; have W Ketchup, Heinz ketchup, and a store brand.

Ask them which they prefer. Watch their expressions when the Heinz bottle is revealed, and the one they despised is the "W" one . . .

2. Haven't tried to look for it, but there's a lot of buzz about it
Isn't there some sort of FDA rule about "foods" (oh, wait, that's a vegetable) and quality, right?

3. Uhh...yeah.

"You don't support Democrats. Why should your ketchup?" is their tagline.

H.J. Heinz contributes heavily to Republicans, but that's beside the point.

5. The Neocons have actually boycotting Heinz products ....
even though the Heinz family is no longer a major shareholder of the Heinz Company stock.

http://www.heinz.com/jsp/presidential_statement.pdf

"Neither Mrs. Heinz Kerry nor Senator Kerry nor any of the Heinz trusts or endowments - either individually or collectively - holds a significant percentage of shares of the H. J. Heinz Company. In 1995, the Heinz Endowments and family trusts sold a large percentage of Heinz shares in a secondary share offering to diversify their holdings. As a result, their currect holdings are under 4 percent."
