Yikes!
Heh, missed you guys, I have been over on eBay bidding on some plates for Christmas presents for the past week. I accidentally bid $31,000.00 for a plate which was supposed to be $31.00 and had to retract my bid. I didn't win the plate, but everyone has been real nice over there, especially since I'm a newbie and I wrote we were voting for John Kerry. I hope noone sends me stuff that is broken. Anyway, it's really HOT out here, we're keeping up with all the news, but everytime I hear those GOP's I just want to barf. Okay, take care everyone, I'm going to back to eBAY, have to fold clothes & make a potato salad.

Here's what I'm looking for:

1926 Spode Plate:

1930 Mason's Regency Plate:

1. Cheney will be disappointed.
Just think how you would have contributed to the economy :)

2. Did you hear Dickie speaking about E-bay's profound
contribution to the economy?

Not a joke, either...

The American public thanks you...

3. oh shit
I didn't hear what he said, am I not supposed to be over there?????
I'm already not going to Home Depot, now eBAY ? But, it's like, if you go to an antique store, these things are marked up 10X as much, & I can't afford that. What's happening ?

4. Don't worry, hon.
Crashcart was praising the booming economy, and he said we were overlooking how much E-Bay is adding to the economy.

It is unAmerican not to count all those people who are making a few hundred bucks a year on auctions!

And let's not forget all those garage sales! Avon ladies! Lemonade stands!

I E-Bay for vintage restaurant ware mugs. I have run out of places to display them. My family gets annoyed.

BTW, the plates look lovely.

6. Thanks, murielm99 -
I went over to google and read it, brother, what a nincompoop. They are really grasping at straws. Jeez ! Who believes these spin masters ? LOL, people have to auction things off just to make a little doe rey me, I think everyone is feeling the pinch. God almighty what will THEY dream up next ?

Anyway, hello fellow eBayer, I'm finding out it is really addicting, I'm Pargie714 over there in case we run into each other. Disreguard next message, I wrote it before I read yours. Okay, take care....annoyed ? My husband is about ready to shoot me, I'm in la-la land, maybe it's because of the stress of the election. See ya later.

Whew ! I feel a little better, but, now I still have to read what the dickhead said about the economy...later, Margie

7. No worries, it was just hilarious.
Federal unemployment statistics fail to take into account the 400,000 Americans who make some money trading on the Internet auction site eBay, Vice President Richard B. Cheney told a Cincinnati audience Thursday.

"That's a source that didn't even exist 10 years ago," Cheney said in response to a question from a self-employed man who said the federal government would consider him "unemployed."

Cheney said the eBay sellers are but one example of how the establishment survey of U.S. employment undercounts self-employed workers by looking only at hiring by companies. He favors the household survey, which paints a rosier picture of the economy.

8. Thanks, blondeatlast,
I know, what a joke ! I am amazed at the absolute caca that comes out of their mouths. Listen, I was a bad girl, though, someone did have that book for sale against Kerry by the so-called swiftboaters - anyway, there's this section where you can ask the seller a question about the article, so I asked - Does a person have to be braindead to buy this book ? ha,ha.

Also, Farenheit 911 is on bid over there, when it hits the stores it will be $28.00 + tax, you can pick it up for a bit less.

See you guys later, keep holding down the fort, Margie.
