1. This is a great idea

My guess is that Bush will admit he was AWOL and agree to accept appropriate punishment. This is his attempt to appear more human and reach out to undecided voters.

I know I'm dreaming, but wouldn't it be cool if this happened??

I think it might be something like a quick, successful strike against Iran's Nuclear Reactors. Or another Military Operation of some sort (a raid, not a war) I could just see some Embassy somewhere being threatened and in a dramatic, nationally televised rescue the marines or special forces or somebody swoop in and "save the embassy" or something like that. Basically, a Grenada. When Reagan went into Grenada (in October but not in an election year) his poll numbers soared.
