Take a break from worries of the world & stroll through the garden (pics)
I rode my bike today on the North Branch Trail, which is north of Chicago. The trail leads to the Chicago Botanic Garden, which I highly recommend if you're in the area.

Here's some pics that I thought everyone would enjoy. BTW, it's OK to step away from the computer and the fight every now and then. Don't lose sight of the good stuff.

BTW, if you want to see these bigger as a slide show (really is nicer), click the link below and select the slide show option in the upper right hand corner.

6. That's very interesting looking
I really let my gardening go this year because I was so involved with cycling this summer. So, it was a real treat today — not that my yard is anywhere near as fabulous.

I'm really looking forward to the leaves changing. I can't imagine how spectacular some of these views must be.

9. More terrific pics -- thank you, prolesunited!
Gorgeous colors in these. Reminds me that I need to get away for just a couple of days!

Thanks -- :toast:

13. No, I don't
Sorry. It was in the tropical section of one of the greenhouses if that's of any help.

15. So, what do they taste like?
Chicken?

These were some fat, juicy ones. They look like they've been well fed.

17. Thanks!
I wish I had more time. I wasn't able to do it all because I have to leave enough time to ride my bike back to the car. It was like 30-some miles round trip.

As it was, I got caught on the trail after dark. I had my headlight on, but it was a little spooky riding in the woods after dark.
