There is a guy 3 cubes away from me that I have a pair of earplugs for.
I have to either put those in when he eats or leave the area 'till he's done.

He was chomping away yesterday. I had to go out to lunch to avoid strangling him.

When I was a child we were punished for eating with our mouths open. I can't stand to see or hear it now!

You can do what I did at a company I worked for... fake a phone conversation, thusly:

"Well, I heard Herb was into Scat! Yeah, that's brown showers. It works great because Phyllis has Crohn's Disease. When she gets diarrhea, he's hard as a rock! She stands over him and... what? Oh, yeah, I know, but whatever turns them on! And did you hear about Zach and Gloria? They're into pelican kissing! It's how pelicans feed their chicks by puking rotting fish into their beaks? Well, Zach and gloria eat a huge meal, cuddle up naked and vomit into each other's mouths, back and forth, until they climax! He says it's brought real meaning into their marriage! Did you hear about Arnold outlawing necrophilia? Shame, isn't it! I guess that means Mike will finally have to bury Sandra... and Jo-Anne... and Carrie. Poor guy...."

TRUST me, the eater *will* be pleading with you to tone it down! at which point you ask HIM to tone down the disgusting sounds from HIS end!
