What was your CB Radio Handle?
Okay, so the 70's were full of bad shit, one of which was the short-lived obsession with the CB Radio. I know you had one too, so what was your handle on the CB Radio, Good Buddy?

Mine was Nowhere Man

Hey, I loved the Beatles as a teen...

1. B.J.
I gave up driving when my monkey died.

I guess I shouldn't have spanked him so much.

7. Psycho.
Yes, I was doing this in the early 1990s. We fox hunted (used signal strength to find a car hidden somewhere in the metro area). We sucked.

"Psycho" was my high school nickname, because I got sent to the school shrink for writing about morbid topics in my history journal.

9. Sorry. I'm a ham.
But in the early 60s I used a CB rig of a doctor friend of mine and his call-sign: 6Q5702.

Ham radio changed all that, but I have always been call-sign only.

15. He had racks of equipment, tons of power
big Antaenna, good old Chrome D-104 Microphone.

He had a group that got on and chewed the fat everyday at the same time for 30 or 40 years.

Sadly, when he passed away, his stuff got sold off.

12. My hubby's a ham -
in fact, we met over a Ham radio (I was with a friend who had one)..
His call is K4PWO (he used to be WB4VXT, but lost it when we moved & he had a short lapse renewing his license). Both boys are hams now as well (K4DWO & K4JWO)...

I am K9STR in the southwest mountains of Transylvania County, NC. I'll be on the International Association of Airline Hams net tomorrow morning between about 10 am EDT and noon on 20-meters (14.28 mHz). Now that I have power back I can run full legal power. I've been limping on generator power for two days. We were hit extremely hard by both Ivan and a tornado.

On edit: His initials. I just looked it up on that look-up place (that I won't post). I see he has extra class, just like me.
