1. The only character I've seen her do is Brenda

on Six Feet Under. I absolutely abhor that character so I quit watching the show. What else has she done? Maybe I'll watch something else she's done so I won't judge her unfairly. :-)

which is not about Democratic first ladies, as the name might imply, but about two English sisters, the Dupres, both of whom were highly regarded musicians, both of whom had truncated careers: Hilary (flute) because she got married and had children, Jackie (cello) because she developed severe multiple sclerosis.

obviously she's very screwed up but who isn't (yes, I know, her character is more screwed up than most but the show has done a great job of showing us why. Because of that, I have a lot of sympathy for Brenda).

... and it sounds so natural, that whenever I hear her do an interview using her real accent, it sounds like she's "acting" and putting-on a fake Aussie accent.

Weird, huh? I guess that means she plays the role of Brenda very well!
