I'll have to go with "Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World." There's just something touching about a Nazi professing his love for his girl before he marches off to war.

2. Yes, definitely in my top ten.
Hauntingly beautiful, yet completely absurd at the same time!

5. I think that pretty much sums up most of their music
they had some great social commentary but done in a real absurd manner.

3. Oh Oh I love her so
I met her at the Burger King we fell in love by the soda machine
So we took the car downtown the kids were hanging out all around
Then we went down to Coney Island on the coaster and around again
And no one's gonna ever tear us apart cause she's my sweetheart
All right, oh yeah

Oh oh I love her so Oh oh I love her so Oh oh I love her so

Oh oh I love her so Oh oh I love her so Oh oh I love her so

Hanging out on a night like this I'm gonna give her a great big kiss
I'm gonna make her mine and everything's gonna be real fine

I met her at the Burger King we fell in love by the soda machine
So we took the car downtown the kids were hanging out all around
Then we went down to Coney Island on the coaster and around again
And no one's gonna ever tear us apart cause she's my sweetheart

Hands down.

Sorry none of that heavy political stuff you guys are into. Give me the mindless head thrashing and pop sensibility.

6. I'm with you-the Ramones were FUN
they remind me of my youth-especially the summer hanging out on the shore. They were a great POP band!

9. Agreed. I think music should be fun.
For as political as I am, I'm not real big on political songs (unless they're allegorical).

21. in no particular order

There are too many songs to mention, but here a short short list.

My brain is hanging upside down (bonzo goes to bitzburg)
Now I wannna sniff some glue.
Blitzkrieg Pop.
Somebody put something in my drink.
teenage lobotomy
gimme gimme shock treatment
pinhead
we're a happy family
rock'n'roll high school.

I used believed the Ramones were super humans with their constant touring of small clubs in the US. The fact that they are pretty much gone and the original four members of the Sex Pistols are still around says much about how abusive the Ramones they must have been to themselves. It reminds me of the the blue collar factory workers who die shortly after their retirement from the floor.

30. When I was a radio DJ in college, I closed EVERY show with...
"Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio"

Do you remember lying in bed,
With the covers pulled up over your head,
Radio playin' so no one could see?
We need change, and we need it fast,
Before rock's just part of the past
'cause lately it all sounds the same to me.
WHOOOOOAA-OOOOAAAAHHHH!
