8. if you're going from that bullshit graphic thats been going around
you are sorely wrong.

Let me give you a nudge with the clue stick-the hurricane hits the poorest the hardest, it discriminates that way. People living paycheck to paycheck cant afford these storms, the lost wages, the lost jobs, the damage to property, the extra supplies.

So screw it OK?

PS the storm is a she

3. Everyone of these hurricanes are doing loops, Ivan did....
..and is now back in the gulf and heading for Texas, Jeanne's was heading out into the Atlantic earlier, but has looped back around and is now making a straight line for the military center of Florida, Brevard and Orange counties and Lisa out in the Atlantic made a loopy 360 degree turn in it's journey westward toward the lower Antilles Island of the Caribbean. We need the weather people to start coming up with some better explanations of what is happening. This is not at all typical of tropical storms and hurricanes is it?

9. I've lived on the Gulf coast all my life
and hurricanes are really difficult to predict. The weather forecasters here generally say it's good news to a region to be in a high vs. low front because hurricanes don't generally go into highs.

But it wasn't that many years ago that they predicted a hurricane would hit the Gulf side of Florida and it ended up skirting up the coast and went back out into the Gulf again and headed west. It may have finally made landfall in Texas, but I might be remembering another storm.

I can't ever remember a time that a state was hit by so many storms during one season. To get yearly back-to-back hurricanes is unusual. This is just horrible. I've been through 2 bad storms, one in New Orleans and one in Houston and they're just miserable. I feel so badly for the Floridians affected by them. As much as I hate Jeb Bush, it'd be worth it for him to get some accolades if he can help people get their lives together. But so far all he's really been impressed with was the storm that took down very expensive homes....Asshole. :puke:

I am about to give up here. I have had more than enough of this crap. I wonder if Ivan is coming back.

6. somehow I knew Jeanne was going to do this
Look at the way she hung out there going around in a painfully slow circle just to gather strength and hit florida again.
