Wag the Dog?

I've been thinking about potential "October Surprises" that Bush might shell out and everyone seems so set on Osama Bin Laden, I've even heard some rethugs say that they thought Osama's capture in October would be fishy. Bush may be dumb, but not THAT dumb.

What I am waiting to see is like a little war. I dont mean like an attack against Iran or North Korea, something out of left field. Like another Grenada. Suddenly we supposedly have some emtrapped college students/embassy workers/missionaries/whatever and the cavalry comes charging to the rescue in a short little gunbattle that temporarily spikes the poll numbers just long enough to give him the edge in the election.

to mislead the public these days. Look at the last four years. Like Rove does, five times, tell them five times and they'll believe anything. The all-American armchair warrior is waiting for their Rhinestone Texas cowboy to rise again, never let them down, just like ole John Wayne.
