Multifunction Printers- Would You Give Advice, Please
I am looking at a Hewlett Packard PSC2410.

This machine will not be doing any faxing... mainly want to be able to scan and copy photographs to do art projects with.

Just had to throw out a Lexmark which wasn't even a year old and not used very often.

Thanks in advance :)

1. More details please
What operating system. Mac or PC? What program are you trying to print from? What size file?

4. Windows Laptop. Will Be Printing Occassionally From Saved Files
but would very much like a machine that can scan and copy pre-existing photos well.

If I knew more about computers I could answer your questions better. Sorry.

2. I have a HP psc 950
that I'm still happy with after a few years. I don't use it for high quality stuff but it's worked well for home use. Hopefully, the computer folks will help with more informed advice.

but it all depends on what you want out of it. Personally, I'd wait a bit until the PhotoSmart 2610 comes out. It's $50 more, but I think you get a lot for that extra money, such as better scanning ability, faster printing, more memory, networking capabilities, etc.

6. I have an HP3300
for scanning and printing (didn't need the fax either) and it's great. I'd say avoid Epson - I've had nothing but trouble with 'em.
