I'm glad I left Harvard Square
I live in Inman Square now. I'm glad I cut the apron strings and made the .6 mile trek away from the 'rents! :D

It was also cheaper to buy a house in Inman Sq. a few years back. Not anymore.

1. Did you manage to buy anyway?
Or are you still renting? Right now that seems to be more cost-effective, since rents seem to have plateaued while house prices are still lurching upward (a house around the corner from me in Somerville just sold for $1.2 million-- sheesh!)

4. i got ya'll beat! I'm in the student ghetto at roxbury crossing
even though i'm not a student - and i LOVE it! cheap rent, ambulance noises constantly(the real ghetto is right around the corner), and a stop n' shopt to boot!

screw inman, harvard, and lowell. come on out here!

6. Lowell can give Roxbury a run for its money. . .
depends on what neighborhohod you're in. I couldn't get into the parking lot of the local Market Basket yesterday afternoon because both entrances were blocked by numerous police cars.

Still don't know WHY, but they were there :)
