2. My predictions
My prediction is, the Bosox fold spectacularly, as only the Red Sox can, in the 9th inning of Game Seven of the World Series against St. Louis, on the Cards' final out, while holding a two-run lead. The Yankees will not get the pleasure of sending the Sox back to Boston.

In the National League, the Cubbies are, believe it or not, still in the wild-card "race". I predict this race will go right down to the last day of the season, but it will be the Giants who get their feelings hurt by the Cardinals in the NL playoffs. There just ain't no stopping those Cards this year.

Nevertheless, the Devil is making sure his snowblower works, just in case

19. Actually, after the last 2 weekend series..
Johnny (JC in centerfield) Damon said the same thing, although I think he was referring to the hoopla surrounding the 'rivalry'.

And the AL East is still do-able. Not probable but do-able.

Somehow, amid all the political stress I have in my life, my boys are going to put me through more. But it's good!

I just hope they forget Kim is on the team. Please!!!

Edited 'cause I can't spell.

And they are leading the wildcard over the Giants by one measly 1/2 game. Goddammit, THIS IS THE YEAR! :D

20. A Technical ?..
since the AL wildcard team will in all probability from the AL East, who will the wild card team play in round 1? I had the impression that they usually play the team with the best record, unless that team is in their own division.(The team with the best record will also be from the AL East, whichever team it is.) So, the wild card team will play the team with the second best record. Is that correct?
