I just saw...
a Jefferson's Salamander. I looked it up on the net after finding one on my back patio. I discovered I was lucky to have seen it at all since they tend to live out of sight and are considered a species of concern here in NY. Anyway I thought that was cool. :-)

The one on the top. I took it as a good sign being a fire sign and all. Although I'm not sure why salamanders are associated with fire? Anyway it was cool.
