No one knows you yet, and your profile is hidden, which 9 times out 10 is a sure sign of a disruptor.

30. Sarcasm comes in all shapes, sizes and colors.
I understand the need for moderators but not the attempt to impose morality. Doesn't work and can lead to serious abuses of power.

I don't post a lot and didn't see the need to torture anyone with my boring personal information.

More than likely someone hit the alert button. When that happens, if a moderator finds the post to be offensive or objectionable, he or she exercises judgement and decides whether or not to delet the message. Hell, if this entire thread was locked, I could see why.

Furthermore, I recommend putting something, anything, in your profile. Not having one, like I said before, arouses suspicion among some folks.

For a number of years Washington had the best Negro Team in the league called the Homestead Grays. I think it would be good to name the new team after them.

Right outside Pittsburgh; unless they relocated at one point. From what I gather, they were one of the best ever.

You're right- I just checked, they did relocate to DC! :hi:

Actually, upon further research, they double-timed between DC and Pittsburgh.

They were technically from the Pittsburgh area...but they had their most successful seasons in Washington. And, unless the Pirates are planning on changing their name I think Washington can lay a pretty good claim to them.
