Amazing coincidence, all of these natural disasters...

3. Having weathered three hurricanes in the past 6 weeks
I can't say which I would rather have.
Earthquakes are quick...but oh so devastating. And come with no warning.

Hurricances on the other hand, have a few days warning, so you can get out if you want. And, given proper design and construction you can build a fortress that could withstand very high winds--though few people actually here do.

Hmmm...I guess in spite of everything, I am leaning 'hurricane.'
