What the hell got you so angry anyway?

first they rejected my article on the coming draft, claiming it was "fear mongering" and "sensationalist"

then i pick up the new paper today, read 1 article making fun of CBS over the rather deal, 1 article by a white girl talking about how awesome bill cosby is for finally telling black people what he's been telling them, and 1 article by this other white kid making fun of rap music, and using lots of racial stereotypes and "black slang" to do so.

i cant stand these motherfuckers

Maybe there is something you can do about the content, rather than fighting with a wall.

in business school, arguing with a classmate over the phone about a group presentation.

My husband does that shit all the time. Doesn't solve any problems, usually creates the need to repair something too.

There's got to be a better way to handle the anger. :evilgrin:

You`ve let these fools have too much power over you. There`s a better way.

If you must, kick the wall, or throw something at it. The hand has too many fragile bones.

Well, you've learned a lesson now, haven't you? A couple of suggestions. First, get yourself off to the hospital for an X-ray and some medical attention. If you seriously think that you broken something in your hand, you probably have. It needs to be tended to soon, don't put it off and think you can tough it out. The hand needs to be set just so, or otherwise it will heal in a completely useless fashion and will have to be rebroken and set properly.

Second, while I understand your anger and frustration(been there myself), it is better to find other ways to vent. Take up boxing, or martial arts. If that is not for you, strategically place a thick pillow or punching bag where it can be hit when needed without injuring yourself.

As far as your student paper goes, perhaps it is time for you to do some stealth agitating. Get some liberal friends, black, white, gay, straight, male, female, writing into the paper, calling them on their BS. Guaranteed, if the paper starts catching enough flack about being biased and conservative, they will start looking to you for more copy.

Get better, and good luck. And by the by, don't think that you can release frustration safely by kicking the wall either. Things break easily there too;)
