I went to my first debate party last night :-)

It was awesome. They had food and drinks, buttons, shirts, etc. We all gathered inside a theater to hear from Governor Granholm's husband, Dan Mulhern, before the debate started. (Cate Edwards was supposed to be there, but I dodn't see her.)

They showed C-SPAN's coverage. Every time Kerry spoke and delivered a zinger (like the one about outsourcing the job of capturing bin Laden to warlords), the audience cheered.

Overall, it was an amazing event.
