Hard to find Albums
Seeing as I'm currently on a quest to get an original copy of Maiden Japan, what albums are you currently looking for?

1. Blue Monday
Murdered by Love

I have a bargain basement cassette tape and I can't find it anywhere.

Blue Monday was a blues band and the lead singer was "Rougie Ray" who was an ex-convict and serious blues singer and harp player.

I only know of this one album.

Well my baby's gone and she ain't ever comin' back
My baby's gone she ain't never comin back
She said she can't live in no chicken shack

She wants air conditioning and carpeting on the floor
She wants air conditioning, carpeting on my piny, piny wood floor

And a phone on the kitchen wall, where her momma she can call...

Sheeeeeeeeeessssssssss gone, Sheeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss gone,
Cryin' ain't gonna bring that woman back.
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesssss gone
Crying won't bring her back
She's gotta a skinny little man with a BIG fat Cadillac.

2. Dogbowl's "Tit! An Opera" was very hard to find on CD.
Even Dogbowl couldn't help me locate a copy. I must have ordered it on GEMM 10 times, only to have every dealer fall through. Finally, one was able to provide me with it.

3. This Is A Recording -- Bob Dorough
A wonderful little album of music set to "found lyrics". My favorite song off there is Becoming Partly Cloudy, a National Weather Service forecast for Central Park set to a lovely jazz ballad.

4. Television - Live at the Old Waldorf
Rhino reissued 5000 of these, and they were all snapped up before I got one... anybody have one to sell or "loan"? Shows up on eBay now and again for stupid money.

5. The Afflicted Man's Musical Bag
A truly obscure lp that came in a red and white striped bag instead of a cover circa 1981 or so! The label was rubber stamped with just the song titles like Hippie Punk, Hippie Skin, Glue Sniffer...
I really liked this album as did several others I played it for...However I sold it about 15 years ago and I truly rue my decision! It was quite good, actually...
