You know what's ironic?

If you say something is ironic when it is not, that statement itself is ironic, but this retroactively transmogrifies the same statement back to non-irony because it is only ironic when it is false in its depiction of irony. When it becomes a factual account of irony, it ceases to be ironic. It is both ironic and not ironic, which is deeply ironic.
