Is is safe to download this?

free anti-spyware program, mentioned in thread regarding a clip of Bush flipping out on Gibson, which contained a bunch of bad junk

somebody recommended it, but I'm not sure about what to do

anybody know anything about it?

But frankly, all you really need is Ad-aware and Spybot Search and Destroy and you're set.

I had MAJOR problems after downloading either that specifically or something with a similar name. I read about ad aware in PC mag and it received good reviews. I could be wrong....

I have used it for over a year now along with Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy. I highly recommend all three.

5. This is awesome.

SpywareBlaster keeps spyware from installing.
It is a wonderful preventative tool which I have used for a long time.

I still use Lavasoft-AdAware-and SpyBot to see if anything sneeks by but SpywareBlaster keeps things pretty clean.

I switched to Mozilla FireFox for my browser and Thunderbird for my email:

Mozilla is the best and far less suseptable to spyware:
