I watched Saved! last night....
It was pretty funny, I have to admit. Some decent lines in it. And even Mandy Moore was good as the "villian". And Susan Sarandon's daughter was pretty good as well.

Although I thought it was ultimately a little too Kum-Ba-Ya overly simplistic in it's final conclusion, with the evenagelical fundamentalist christians as being a majority wonderful, tolerant people who all ultimately end up being o.k. with teen pregnancy, and homosexuality, with only 1 bad apple in the group who doesn't come around.

Note, this movie wasn't about a regular, mainstream christian school. The school at which this takes place is supposed to be completely born again, proselytizing, speaking in tongues, judgemental, fire and brimstone, cast out the sinners type of place.

Anyone else see this? Thoughts?

1. What an interesting premise.
What a field to plow.

This could become a franchise.

Iwas hoping it was well done. I can hardly wait to see it.
