Edited on Wed Sep-10-03 05:22 PM by ronnykmarshall
Just got my ballot and it's:

No on the Recall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes on Cruz!

To be honest, I wish I could have voted for Anrianna. But I want to stop the recall and Arnold at all costs.

53 sounds like more non discretionary rules for spending. I don't like who is presenting it . at first glance it looks like a no. Someone convince me otherwise. Big Fat no for Recall and 54. Also got a note from Dianne, reminding me what a bad idea recall was, and who was behind it short and to the point- don't trust the repugs. Oh cruz is on the last page along with dumkoph

WE ARE TIED STATISTICAL DEAD HEAT NO ON RECALL.
make sure everyone votes. The momentum for the recall is BROKEN.

Silly repugs, just skipped right over the recall battle and went after each other!

Meanwhile, NO On recall is going to win if trends hold.

That will teach those carpetbagging sonsabitches not to fuck with CA DEMS BABY!!!!

10. Great news
At the Cal Democratic convention yesterday, both Cruz and Davis appeared on the stage TOGETHER! From what the papers reported it was a very UNITED appearence and the delegates were pumped!

GO NO!!!!!

13. I'm beginning to think that our best bet is
to keep McClintock in the race. Poor guy. He's dead last on the ballot. My conservative repub area is offended by Arnold and lobbying for McClintock. He can keep the republican vote split. Meanwhile, our small local dem group will be protesting Arnold's fundraising visit tomorrow:

In the great tradition of American politics, Antelope Valley and Southern California Democrats are planning a protest of the Arnold Schwarzenegger fundraiser next Monday night. Please drop everything and make plans to attend this historic event:

Arnold Protest
Monday, September 15
Across the street from the new AV Fairgrounds
2551 W. Avenue H, Lancaster (next to 14 Fwy.)
5 to 7 p.m. (Arnold dinner start at 6 p.m.)

We will provide signs, placards, banners and refreshments. Bring your
whistles, U.S. flags and great American spirit to support our duly-elect Governor. Wear your Democratic, Gray Davis, No on Recall or labor t-shirts to show support. Your friends and families are welcome!

Please pass this e-mail onto at least 10 of your friends today, so that we can show that the Antelope Valley is no longer the Republican bastion that the GOP can count on. If you have friends that are Republicans, Greens or independents and they oppose Arnold too, bring them along! If you need transportation, let us know.

9. Still waiting for my ballot!
I'll be out of town on October 7. Actually, I'm glad I'll be gone that week, with the election going on AND the damn Kobe hearing on October 9.

11. Possible delay?
There is still talk about a possible delay. If that happens, my guess is that any absentee ballots will not be counted and voided. We would have to get new ones for the March primary.
