I just noticed that the 2004 nickels are different...
The only time I ever closely examine my change is when I'm looking for new state quarters to give to my brother who collects them. But today I noticed that I had a nickel with Lewis & Clark's boat on the back instead of Monticello. Have they been like this all year?

I think there are 2 designs, also.

3. I was doing a lecture the other day, playing with my change
when I happened to glance at a "new nickel." I froze. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS THING?, I thought. I could not function.

4. That's exactly what happened to me.
Except I was at Subway getting lunch, and then I woke up in the back of an ambulance clenching the Crazy Freak Nickel in my hand.
