Have You Heard Howard Dean's Radio Ad For "Yahoo Local"
Edited on Sun Oct-17-04 08:02 PM by arwalden
http://local.yahoo.com/

It's very amusing... he starts off by introducing himself as Howard Den, governor, doctor, author, and former presidential candidate. Very professional sounding.

Next he starts to tell us about a new service called Yahoo Local where you can find whatever you're looking for in your area.

Dean then gives us some ferinstances... "I can find a convention center in NEBRASKA!... He'll be able to locate a good restaurant after his book-signing in OHIO! (shouting each state name so forcefully that his voice goes all gravelly). He continues on with several more states then ends up letting us know that when it's all done, he'll be looking for a place to relax in WASHINGTON, DC!

Definitely a cute and clever ad!

The only thing missing was the famous DEAN-SCREAM!! (They replaced it with the yodeling "Yaaa-HOOOO-ooo!" instead.)

1. I saw it and forgot about it.
I was half asleep. I'll look for it again. I remember thinking it sounded cool.
