A more cheerful 2d anniversary is coming up

4 days after 9/11, my boon companions Paul and Alice and I were understandably still distraught, angry, disgusted, bedraggled-- well, you can probably describe equally well how we were, because you were probably the same. So I said what the hell, I have the Monty Python & the Holy Grail DVD, why don't y'all come over and we'll see if laughter is still possible? They did, we did, Paul left, and Alice, um, what would a gentleman say? Alice and I explored the possibilities of me-and-Alice-hood, possibilities we are still happily exploring today (unless she murders me in my sleep for wall-to-wall DUing). So now that the solemn anniversary has passed, join me in grinning like an idiot for a much funner one.

It's nice to have something good to associate with this day.
