What happened tonight on West Wing?
I wasn't able to get home in time to watch it tonight. I am dying to know what happened to everyone. How is Donna? What did Bartlet do? Did Toby resign? What is the deal with the new people? Thanks!

7. quick recap: (SPOILERS!!!!!)
Edited on Wed Oct-20-04 11:13 PM by pres2032
Jed, Leo, and Kate continued their spat about what to do. Kate and Jed continued their press for a summit between the Palestinians and the Israelis. Leo, the Joint Chiefs, Congress (which passed a resolution for war), and the rest of the staff meanwhile continue to press for an attack of some sort.
On the Summit front, the Israelis refused to meet with Farat (the leader of the Palestinian authority) so Kate got Jed to get Farat to capture the guy responsible for the attack. Farat got the guy and the two sides agreed to meet in Camp David.
While this was going on, the Joint Chiefs came up with a plan to attack Syria and moved the forces into position without Jed's approval. Jed was of course pissed, but Leo was 10 times more pissed that Jed is still pressing for peace and came a second away from threatening Jed. Though as Jed was getting on the chopter to go to Camp David, he told Leo to tell the Chiefs to order the attack as soon as the Palestinians get to Camp David (still don't understand that move).
In other news: Donna is ok, Josh is still greatly concerned. They have a couple good moments which leads me to believe that they're a couple now, or will be???
The show ends with Jed opening the summit and Josh and Donna staring at eachother in an almost embrace.
