I say no because sports and politics shouldnt be mixed.

5. Personally, i would like to see it but there's a risk of backlash.
Given that there will be chimp-worshiping kerry-haters in the stands who will boo and rebel yell at the top of their lungs that Kerry sucks. We know how the media spins these things. The clip will be played over and over to and questions asked about "why did Kerry get such a poor reception...la di da."

Would be kind of cool to see a Boston vs. Houston (from Chimpland) series.

Kerry should most definitely throw the first pitch (and should do some serious practice beforehand.)

One of the most appealing film moments I can recall is that wonderful scene in "Dave" when Kevin Kline as Prez throws a strike and he pulls his fists down in a "YESSSS!!!" victory gesture. So what if the Repukes boo? It's called sounding like bad sports and poor losers. The Sox fans will cheer wildly.
