4/4/01 LoneGunman Fox show - Gov plot 2 crash plane in2 World trade center

For those of you that don't know the Lone Gunman show, was a spin off of the X- files. I now remember the episode, this is creepy. Condi says that we had no idea that an airliner could have been used as a weapon. Shit maby the createrors of the Lone Gunman should be in charge of our national security.

Byers goes back to his father's home and finds Bert there. Bert slaps him and says he should not have gotten involved. The 12D plan is for a small group of government operatives to crash a jetliner into New York City in order to keep tensions high and increase arms sales.

They realize that the airplane will be remote controlled, just like Bert's car was. Talking by phone to the Gunmen's office, Byers asks Langly and Frohike to hack into the aircraft controls.They do and discover that the plane is programmed to crash into the World Trade Center.

I've been trying to convince people the episode even EXISTED since 9/11 - and I almost got branded a KOOK!

I have seen clips from the internet, anyway. It exists!!

funny how 'nobody' had any idea of such a thing, huh?

...I believe. I'd love to get the whole episode, but haven't found it anywhere...

Maybe we could ask the prescient, artsy writers to give our government "intelligence" community (an oxymoron) a heads-up next time.
