Why are there so many songs about rainbows,

And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it,
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered,
When wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that, and someone believed it,
And look what it's done so far.
What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing
And what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

All of us under its spell,
We know that it's probably magic ............

Have you been half asleep? And have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
The voice might be one and the same.
I've heard it too many times to ignore it,
It's something that I'm s'posed to be .......
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,

The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

1. Because a rainbow are beautiful signs of the balance
to be found in the wonderful world of nature. A breath taking sight that cannot be planned or scheduled, it happens when it wants to.
No Rain, No Rainbow.
If you could not tell by name, I love rainbows.

4. Sniffle . . .
Used to sing that song to my dear departed bunny.

I sang the whole Muppet Movie soundtrack to her on regular occasions, while I rubbed her head and ears. Not that I've got a great voice, quite the opposite. But she loved it.

After she died, I sang her favorite song, Gonzo's "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday," once more (I wasn't with her when she went) and haven't been able to sing any of the songs since. In my mind, they belong to her.

7. Because rainbows are beautiful
and to me a personal sign of hope. My choice as a sig. They bring me hope. They make me smile and I always look for them. I think lots of people feel the same way. Wonderful song btw, so nice, thanks.
