if you watched the game Last night, you'd know that the cards packed it in. they gave up. their fans gave up. tony Larussa gave up.

i'd prefer them to Lose tonight strictLy for Logistics (victory parade on the weekend instead of a work day)

It's a lot harder work to be a Red Sox fan. I will not deny that the Yankees are a great team and they have great luck. The Red Sox are a great team with lousy luck. That's the difference and the difference in the fans is that it's easy to support a team that always wins. I've been a faithful Sox fan for over 40 years - that's a lot of heartbreak but I'm not giving up. I'm never giving up. And that builds character! :)
