I love it, the hell with all the doomsayers from the beginning that didn't even want to give them a chance. This is also in ultra-conservative San Diego of all places, so that makes it that much nicer.

Now, if we can just get them on in Hartford!

Media that is not pro-government propaganda in a big Navy/Marine Corps town is going to get people talking.

There are not a whole lot of kids that sign up here anyway, compared to the rest of the country. It has a lot to do with growing up in a military family, and that itself, makes a lot of kids not want to enlist.

During the Vietnam war, military towns had a higher enlistment rate.

not necessarily RW hate radio with snide partisan lying. Our side is simply cleaner and more truthful entertainment. I know may people in our moderate to liberal area tuning in to outrageous talk shows because they are somewhat entertaining but mainly they have no other choices. They start being loyal to the local troll host. Weeds grow in vacant lots.

However, not to go easy on the liberal thing out of guilt or anything, but.... we can reach more people where they are by offering simple comedy along the lines of Jon Stewart and less partisan warfare. The people are not really tuning in for the political dialectic though they can start allying themselves to attached ideologies if it is essentially there.

So far: truth is better, good people and smart people and more professional people can do the job better. Competition is good. Etc.

If only we could get the main network fare back on the road to fairness.

I've listened to the rest, now I only listen to the best. My radio dial is permanently soldered to am 620 here in Portland. It's a great radio station. I've written several posts about why it's such good radio station.

It just shows you how rotten the Rot-publicans really are. Out of 100 stations, 99 are Rat-publican. Can't they even let us have 1 democratic station?
