I saw the most beautifully grotesque man today.
I went to eat at a local burger joint. There was this hispanic man, mid fifties I'd guess - he was pretty obese. Nothing unusual about any of that. But he had this magnificent, huge gargoyle-like face/head. I couldn't stop looking at him. He look sort of like a Klingon (did I spell that right? Not a trekkie). A sculptor would have loved to use this guy as a model. He had these deep furrows, very angular bone structure, a big bulbous nose, with skin like sandstone. Just a beautiful, truly impressive thing to see.

4. Now that I think about it. I have a friend back home not unlike this man..

A gargantuan, gentle monster named, appropriately enough, Tim. Sweetest guy you'd ever want to meet.

Concerning today though, I had to be careful with my stares, I know the man has surely suffered in his life. I'm sure he gets stared at constantly. But I thought he was a walking work of art.

There's a line from a song: "some say there's beauty in distortion".

6. I love people like that.
I think our differences are so damn beautiful. And even the person society would consider the least attractive, I think is beautiful.

Can't explain it. I just do. He sounds marvelous.

7. Think about it
Abraham Lincoln was often thought of as and ugly man.
