Where's a good place to have a weblog?
I really feel the need to do this. There's so much in my head about stuff (okay, not politics really, more like life, sex, marriage, relationships) that I just want to write down in a rather voyeuristically anonymous way. Where's a good place to do it for that's either free or fairly low cost?

1. http://www.diaryland.com and it is free
I really like this site. It is easy to use even if you don't know html. If you do know html, you can customize up a storm. But it isn't necessarily. You can register and start posting your diary almost immediately.

If you decide you want picture hosting, you can upgrade to a gold membership for a low fee.

But if you just want to write...it's absolutely free. Both diary style and blog style...whatever format you like. There are lots of diaries of all kinds there -- sex, marriage, mom with kids, teen angst, politics, humor...you name it.

2. www.livejournal.com
I have a journal there. They have an interest section, and you can put democratic underground as one of your interests, it's already there. There are several duers there.

There are paid and free accounts. For the free accounts, you have to get a refferal code from someone. If you pm me, I will send you a code.

My journal is at http://www.livejournal.com/users/melsky

I ended up at Diaryland. Looked easier since I'm only semi computer savy (and I stretch the word savy). Anyway, this should be fun. Perhaps if I get braver, one day I'll post where I'm writing all this (as Jimmy Carter would say) "lust in my heart" stuff. But maybe not, especially if I write about that Will Pitt dream I had after I saw him on CSpan last month.

Sometimes it's the biceps, sometimes it's the eyes, sometimes it's the ass, but generally it's the brains on a man that melts my butter, warms my muffins, and revs my engine.
