Best Linux game?

My new h/w arriving for my Linux box should arrive by Thursday!

And the whole cost of the upgrade was pretty low for some pretty powerful gear:

* BFG video card (Nvidia GeForce 4600FX with 128MB RAM) - $219
* Athlon 2100+ Retail CPU (o/ced to 2700+) - $70
* Asus A7V333-XL mobo :-9 - $80
* 512MB Crucial CAS 2.5 PC2700 RAM (allowing the 333mhz FSB which also enables the 2100+ to run at 2700+) - $72

Anyway, apart from games we all know of like Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament (and UT2003), and SimCity 3000, what are the BEST Linux games out there, pay-for or otherwise?
