Does anyone ever think about this?
Fact that we would have never met if Bush hadn't stolen the damn election well most of us, those of us who have their husbands and wives etc yeah would have known each other, but think about it, I wouldnt have learned what I have if Bush hadnt stolen the election nor would I have met so many great people, many of whom I consider great friends. God it makes me cry honest to god.

4. I know SOOOO much more and care so much more
than I did four years ago.

And if it weren't for * telling people during an address shortly after 9/11 to ignore the rumors on the internet I don't know if I'd have found this place. Nothing like being told to ignore something to make me sit down and research it!

5. You're right. My outrage at AWoL's lawsuit to "win" the election
brought me here. Can't say that I've ever had a conversation with anyone other than a couple replies to posts, but I've gotten a lot of great info on important issues. I don't know what I'd do without "Late Breaking News"! ;)

My gawd.. I've been pissed off for 4 years!! I'm sooooooo ready for some hope now. Tomorrow can't come soon enough for me.

I'm an optimist. That's why the Democratic Party appeals to me. And I've always found that even the most miserable thing that happens has something valuable tucked into it. A lesson learned or a place discovered. Or a good friend. :grouphug:

You've made our vast country into a community that transcends physical distance and as a result I feel more American than ever!

13. This place definitely helped me.
I rediscovered a part of my spirit I thought lone gone, gained strength, met some great people, had a few surprises to say the very least, and there's more to come I think. Boggles the mind sometimes. :D

Who would have thought?

14. thats why it was so nice to talk to some of my oldest and dearest
friends from the board tonight, we've only known each other two years but it feels like so much longer. Some of us were gonna hang out but things fell out.
