Wow, The Jets Are DESTROYING The Poor Dolphins On MNF
41-7 right now, and we just started the 4th quarter.

The Jets have TWO 100-yard rushers in this game. Curtis Martin and his backup LaMont Jordan.

Chad Pennington has three TD passes.

The Jets will be 6-1 after this game and take the lead in the division.

Sorry Pats fans, this is OUR year!

1. The lead?
Here was me thinking that an NYJ 6-1 was the same as an NE 6-1...

6. Same record and the Pats beat the Jets,
Steelers (Pats loss) aren't in the division.

11. While I admire your enthusiasm and I do like the Jets

They are dismantling a last place team they are far superior to, so while it is entertaining to watch, it's not really a guage of where they are as a team.

HOWEVER.....

They SHOULD have beaten New England Last Week, and they certainly had their chances. The Jets are a better team than the Patriots, who I thought were overrated to begin with, and with recent injuries are certainly beatable, and I would imagine the Jets will take care of them easily in the Playoffs.

But your biggest worry is the Steelers. They are the best team in the AFC right now, and the Roethlisberger/Burris combination is beginning to look as scary as The Bradshaw/Swan, Bradshaw/Stallworth used to. They are going to be VERY tough to beat and the Jets will have a rough time handling them.

Also if they make it to the Super Bowl, I would very much like to see a Jets/Eagles, Jets/Falcons game.

THAT would be entertaining.

13. It would have been different with A.J. Feeley
He's hurt. That's at least a 35 point deduction.

And all the Eagles got for him was one lousy 2nd round draft pick.
