5. Navy brat here -- I've got you all beat -- until another brat posts!
Phil Penn 3 days

Up and down the east coast -- military bases -- every 6 months.
From Florida to N.Y.

California -- 4 bases
Hawaii -- 3 places -- 5 schools
California -- 3 places -- 3 high schools, college then father retires
Spent summer in Europe
Maryland -- leave home, but still moving -- it's in the blood
Mass.
Washington State (not D.C.)

-- here for years -- but gotta get out if its the last thing
I ever do (my theme song)

Have visited Japan and Caribbean Island -- happiest to be on the move.

Sailboat being readied -- to keep traveling.

Not unusual pattern for military brats --

6. Which 4 bases in California?
My father was stationed at NAS Moffet Field near Mountain View for a while.

Mountain View and Sunnyvale practically count as the same place; they're right next to eachother. I live in Old Mountain View; my Loved One lives in Scummyvale.

12. Moffet Field -- twice
Coconut Beach -- don't know what military installation this was -- too young to know

Alameda -- twice (different times)

one other base in Calif -- don't remember which one -- just remember moving.

Plus the others listed

Barber's Point -- 6 years (my dad switched assignments -- but the family stayed put for the longest time for our family).

About Moffet -- the plane my dad used to fly in Hawaii is now part of the outdoor aircraft exhibit on base. Seems like after flying thousands of hours in that plane -- he'd recognize it.

Did you live there before it shut down? When it shut down it really took a toll on the area surrounding. I'll never forget it (my freshman year of high school).

ETA: I transplanted with my hubby to WA state (Bellingham) in 2003.
