My 8 yo niece almost broke my heart today
I was helping her get ready for school and we were just talking. I asked her if she kne what today was. She didn't, so I told her it was the day everyone votes to see who will be president for the next four years. I told her it was between Kerry and bush. She said "I hope bush wins because he is cute." :puke: :cry: Both of her parents are voting for Kerry though. :)

3. She's only 8 so she has time to learn...
my daughter said she went to school (high school) with some dipwads who voted for bush(in the 2000 election) because he was cute:puke: they are the ones to worry about.

4. I just don't understand this cute thing
I don't think he is attractive at all. Not just because I hate him, but he looks ignorant. Back in his AWOL days I might have cut him some slack, but thats not now. Plus, I think it is scary that anyone would vote for someone based on looks. By high school I would hope they would know better.

he is attractive for a bush, but I would question the sanity of anyone who based their vote on something like that.

6. Really what do they see in someone who has beady eyes..
and can't speak well enough to be understood without someone translating for him? I was always leery of guys who had that smirk, thought they were up to no good.Apparently I was right.

9. Yeah my 14 y/o daughter
said the same thing. Likes chimpy because he's against abortion. When I explained to her that he's had 4 years and the House and Senate and nothing's happened. I didn't get the chance to tell her about Robin Garner.

13. When I was 8, I voted for Nixon in my classroom election
What do 8 year olds know? It was like 23 votes for Nixon and 2 for Wallace. None for McGovern, but we are talking about Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1972.

I thought Dan Quayle was cute. Kid you not.

I didn't know the difference between Repub and Dem all that well...but, knew I was a Dem because my parents told me I was..."You are an Episcopalian and a Democrat." Uh huh...still am :)
