4. Obviously. That's why I left it out. It wins in any match.

7. I actually saw that in the cinema. I have absolutely no idea why.
Oh. I remember. I wanted to see how much Billy Connolly and that guy they use when they can't get Dougray Scott could fuck up the Hundred Years War.

15. Billy Connolly in the Hundred Years War...
I guarantee it would have ended in 5 years and France would have taken over England.

2. I'm undecided
about time I was about SOMETHING, I guess. :-)
There's also the Sherlock Holmes story "The Cardboard Box." Not one of the better ones, though.

3. Mother's Day
Though in neither Mother's Day and Reservoir Dogs is the severed ear really a plot device. More of an event.

10. The Big Lebowski definitely
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 12:51 PM by skygazer
One of my favorite movies. There are so many great lines in that movie - "No, Walter, you're not wrong. You're just an asshole."

edited to add - when Kerry was at the period in the campaign when he was talking about Vietnam a lot, I kept expecting to hear him talk about all the guys who died face down in the mud.... made me giggle.

11. How 'bout Vincent & Theo?
I never saw it, so I don't know if the severed ear thing is even covered and since it's a true story I guess the ear-severing doesn't really qualify as a plot device and I'm just going to shut up and vote for Blue Velvet now.
