2. MOVIE
The TV show was okay, but nothing near the movie. Robert Altman == film god.

3. That's a great question WI-DEM
On this issue I am definitely undecided because I thought they were both awesome. Edgy movie. Nothing but stellar performances for years on the TV show.

4. The tv show was great until Alan Alda started writing the scripts
Then it became too serious of a show. It was about the same time Trapper left and Henry died. I also liked Frank Burns as the antagonist better than Charles, although he was funny in his own way.

5. The TV show needed
"Painless" the dentist and a little less Frank Burns.

7. I liked both, a little iffy on the TV show's last season...
They were a little too touchy-feely for my taste...

8. The Movie, By A Mile

The movie was so smartly crafted that it didn't have to beat you over the head with the absurdity of the situation---medical professionals saving lives, just so those lives can be sent back to the front lines to be maimed again, or killed. The TV series beat you over the head with it; too much of Alda's earnest liberalism......

9. Undecided because..
Even though the movie was clearly superior, I want to be courted some more for my vote!
